Class VIII- Earth Day Celebration

It is important to be vigilant about our environment and make efforts to save it.

This year, the theme of Earth Day is 'Invest in Our Planet.'

The students of Class VIII discussed and shared their viewpoint about the importance of birds in nature. Then, they went to Science Park of the school, where they kept the grains or seeds for feeding them. Different type and size of grains, corns, gram seed etc. that can be used for feeding was also a part of discussion. Students also shared how their grandmother or mother use birds feeder and keep water and grains in balcony or terrace for the birds, change water in the bowl everyday and take care of cleanliness and hygiene at their home. Students took pledge to take individual action to help protect the environment.
