The school commemorated Japan Month with enthusiasm and creativity. Students from classes 6-8 showcased innovative working models integrating math and other subjects, highlighting similarities between Japanese and Indian methods.
Students demonstrated different models like
1. π Approximation Model (for approximating the value of π using japanese mathematician Takebe's Kenkō method as well as ratio method)
2. Spirograph design along with tangrams
3. Japanese multiplication method (japanese lattice) and Soroban (japanese abacus)
Students demonstrated vast knowledge of Japan's contributions to mathematics, fostering cross-cultural understanding and appreciation. The event showcased the students' creativity, teamwork, and dedication.
