An engaging quiz activity was organized for Class VIII students to foster knowledge, collaboration, and critical thinking among the students regarding global sustainability issues.
The whole class was divided into four teams (A, B, C and D) with each team comprising 6
students. Two boxes were prepared.
1. SDG Number box: Contained numbered cards from 1 to 17 representing each SDG.
2. Question Box: Contained questions related to each specific SDG.
Once an SDG was selected, the team then drew a question from the Question Box related to that specific SDG. Teams discussed and answered the question collectively. Answers were evaluated based on accuracy, depth of understanding, and clarity of presentation. In case of ties, a tie-breaker round was conducted.
Ms. Rashmi Gandhi, mother of Class 7 student took out her precious time and consented to be the judge of the activity. Her role was crucial in ensuring fairness and selecting the final winner based on the tie-breaker round criteria.
This activity not only familiarized students with the 17 SDGs but also encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
