Class 8- Get, Set and Go! (Group Activity)

In this activity, the students of Class VIII were divided into 5 groups having 5 students in each group. 

Each group was given one compound shape.They had to write the side lengths on the shape (of their choice, without actual measurement) and had to find out the area and perimeter of their shape. After 2 minutes, the shapes were exchanged between different teams and the other teams used the measurements written by the former team on that shape. 

In this way, each team calculated the area and perimeter of all the 5 shapes. The result were presented through a table. The team with all (or maximum) correct answers was the winner!
