Class VIII: World Earth Day Assembly

Today, Class VIII-A hosted a thought-provoking morning assembly to mark World Earth Day, reminding everyone that caring for our planet begins with each one of us.

Anchored by Pratyaksh and Yashika, the assembly opened with multilingual Thoughts of the Day presented by Aaradhya Chawla, Ankit Singh, and Virat, highlighting our deep bond with nature.

Rachita followed with recent environment news, setting the context for the heart of the program - a powerful short play, “A Letter from Earth.” Through characters like Earth, Tree, River, Plastic, and two contrasting humans, students portrayed the planet’s pain and the urgent need for change. The entry of “Children from the Future” asking, “Will we inherit a planet… or just your mistakes?” left the audience reflective and moved.

The message was clear:

Small Steps… Big Impact! Save Earth… Save Future!

The assembly continued with an energetic * group dance on Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, followed by a solemn Earth Day Pledge led by Ravaye, where students vowed to use resources wisely, plant trees, and inspire others.

A catchy eco-rap brought rhythm to responsibility.

Quiz Masters Divyanshi and Sarthak Mahajan then tested the audience’s green IQ with questions on Earth Day, the 3 R’s, and global warming, ending with a call to action:

Your hands today can change tomorrow!

From impactful performances to interactive segments, Class VIII-A didn’t just celebrate Earth Day - they lived its message. The assembly was a reminder that big change starts with small, conscious choices made every day.

Because when we restore the Earth together, we secure the future together.
