On 6th November, Class VI students participated in the "Substitution Race Track" activity held in the school auditorium. This engaging math activity was designed to make learning algebra fun and interactive.
The activity's objective was to practice substitution in algebraic expressions through a competitive board game. Students started at the "Start/Finish" point. They rolled a dice and substituted the number into the algebraic expression in their current space. Based on the calculated result, students moved forward or backward on the track. The first student (hence team) to complete three laps around the track won.
Students showed great enthusiasm and actively participated in the game. The activity effectively reinforced understanding of algebraic expressions and substitution. It encouraged problem-solving, strategic thinking, and healthy competition among students.
By combining learning with a fun game format, students grasped algebraic concepts in an engaging way. The activity showcased how math can be both educational and entertaining.
