"Learning by doing" is an important aspect to learn and remember things. One such activity was done by the students of Class VII, where they proved that Expanding the brackets and Factorising an Expression both are the inverse process of each other using their Specialising and Generalising skills.
There were two colored cards- Orange and Green. Students were grouped into different teams with each team having different expressions on their card.
Orange cards had expression written on it and they need to factorise that expression and Green cards had factorised expressions and they need to expand the brackets.
After finding the value on each card, each team started searching for their partner team having same factorised expressions or having same simplified expression.
After checking all the workings on both the cards, they deducted that Expanding and Factorising are two inverse processes.
