Nutrition education is a vital part of a comprehensive health education program and empowers children with knowledge and skills to make healthy food and beverages.
In health and nutrition club, students made "Colestaw Sandwich". Students from class 2 to class 8 actively participated in it. Each class was assigned to bring one ingredient of the recipe. Teachers shared the nutritional value of their ingredients and the ratio of each ingredient to be used for it. Through the guidance of Ms. Tanya, Ms. Mini and Ms. Priyanshu, students learnt to make this sandwich and were extremely excited. Students learnt the importance of correct plating and selecting correct plate size for the sandwich.
