An Algebra Chain is a sequence of expressions where an input number is substituted as the value of x in the first expression and then the output of each expression is substituted as the value of x in the following expression.
This activity was done by the students of Class VII where they made a chain of 5 cards. They started with their roll number as the input value and continued to form the chain.
In this way, they learnt to substitute the different values in the expression and simplify the expression to reach the output value.
