75th Independence Day Celebration (August 13, 2022)

We are celebrating our 75th Independence Day on 15th August 2022 this year. The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign has also been started as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by Government of India to encourage people to bring the Indian flag home and hoist it.

The DAV Public School, Pushpanjali Enclave, also extended this celebration in the school premises. There were many things like speech, news, thought of the day, song singing, dance performances, aerobics, etc followed by flag hoisting. The students sang a very melodious patriotic song that reminded us about the sacrifices of our martyrs and freedom fighters. The speech about Pre-Independence India and Post-Independence India, made everyone realise the importance of freedom, equity and equality. 

In nutshell, there was so much to know, learn and enjoy!
