Workshop- Animation of 2D 3D Character (July 27, 2022)

Workshop is a great way to teach hands-on skills as it gives learners an opportunity to try out new methods. 

A workshop on Animation of 2D 3D Character was held for Class VI students on July 27, 2022 by Mr. Surender Kumar, Masters of Fine Arts. He is National Awarded Caricatures Artist of The Times of India and The Hindustan Times. He is currently working in SPG Commando Teach Anantomy Structures Drawings. 

It was a very great learning experience for the students. They really enjoyed it. 

Class 8- Pick the Card and Answer! (Activity)

Bringing fun to the classroom makes learning more interesting. Such fun learning activities are an important part of our Cambridge Curriculum. 

The students of Class VIII did an activity- Pick the Card and Answer where they have two boxes with some cards in it. In Box 1, there were roll number cards and in Box 2, there were questions card. 

One students came, picked the card from Box 1 and drawn card roll number was called. Then, that roll number student picked one question card from Box 2 and solved that question. After that, he picked one roll number card from Box 1 and the drawn card roll number was called. The game went on like this. 

In this way, the students revised already done topics and concepts. 

Class 6 - Substitution Race Track (Group Activity)

Substitution Race Track is a straightforward roll-and-move game which is a race around the board, the winner being the first to cross all the bridges.

As a part of Cambridge Curriculum, the students of Class VI played this game in the classroom, yesterday.

The whole class was divided into five teams. Every time, one member of each team came forward, rolled the die, substituted the value of the die on the expression on the track, then moved forward/ backward accordingly. The rounds went on like this. The first team who crossed all the bridges and reached finish point was the winner!

Through this activity, the students explored about substituting the value of variable, use the order of operations and enhanced their mathematical skills.
