Class VIII: Understanding Number Systems through Venn Diagrams

Today, the students of Class VIII explored the number system using Venn diagrams. They used circles of different sizes and colours to represent natural numbers, whole numbers, integers, rational numbers, and irrational numbers.

The students created concentric circles to show that natural numbers are a part of whole numbers, integers, and rational numbers. They placed the irrational numbers circle separately, illustrating that numbers which are not rational are classified as irrational.

This hands-on activity helped students gain a clearer understanding of how different number sets relate to each other, making the concept more engaging and accessible.

Class 8: A Handprint to Remember- A Creative Start to the New Session

The new academic year got off to a fun and memorable start in Class VIII! As a warm-up activity, students participated in a handprint session where they got their hands painted and printed on a sheet. Once dry, they added their names along with an adjective starting with the first letter of their name - making it a unique and personal touch. The class teachers joined in too, setting the tone for a year of creativity and connection.

We're excited to see how many hands still fit on this sheet by the end of the year - a fun way to track growth and memories!
