The number system is a fundamental concept in mathematics that includes various types of numbers, such as natural numbers, whole numbers, integers, rational numbers, and irrational numbers. For understanding the relationships between these different types of numbers which is crucial for building a strong foundation in mathematics, Venn Diagram Activity was conducted in Class VIII today.
In this activity, students created concentric circles (overlapping circles) to represent the various sets of numbers, such as natural numbers, whole numbers, integers, rational numbers, and irrational numbers. By placing numbers in their corresponding circles, students can see how the different sets of numbers relate to each other.
It was an engaging and interactive way to help students visualize and understand the relationships between different types of numbers.
